They say that a good build starts with a good plan. Having used dozens of contractors over the years, I would say that it also starts with good communication. By that I mean clear and responsive - 2 features that are not common among builders. I found Karl and Ivy to be wonderful. Both are creative and helpful and they are good at solving challenges with graceful equanimity. My project costs tens of thousands and gave them a few good chances to test their equanimity. Of course, at the end of the day, good execution is what folks remember most. So, the deck is done and, despite problems, they stuck with it and worked through them all. The crew is polite and engaged (thanks David and Eric!) I can recommend them wholeheartedly.
